Research:

Reflection Paper:
Writing a good story requires a main character that has a motive but faces obstacles when trying to achieve it. One key thing is that The 3 Act Structure (A ‘formula’) must work in order to get a good story. Like every story, the main character will always have a motive that he/she must achieve or else something terrible will happen. This will drive the main character to do whatever he/she has to do in order to achieve his/her motive. Also, in each Act the main character will continues to face problem or obstacles while trying to achieve her motive. Thus, making the story more interesting. How the main character overcomes the story and reach his/her motive.
We can also add comic relief if the story is too serious, this allows the audience to ‘take a breather’ in the film.  Details of the characters or the environment helps to make it a better story, it's also allows the readers to know more about the characters. Giving the character a personality and appearance.
Also, having a cliche helps the audience/readers to better understand the story as they can easily relates to the situation thus making it a good story.

3 Act Structure

ACT 1 – Set up:
Key Character: Tenya is a witch who is terrible with magic.

Turning Point 2:  Tenya have to decide to take the risk to find B in the magic council centre. She has to return in time to the magic portal before the portal closes and avoid getting caught by the council security.

3 Act Structure
